Uncoated rods that are resistant to corrosion and are intended for welding using TIG method of austenitic chrome-nickel steel, type 18%Cr, 8%Ni. The weld metal features good resistance to general corrosion. Low carbon content makes them especially suitable in situations where the risk of intercrystalline corrosion occurs. Increased silicone content improves welding properties such as wetting properties. The weld metal is widely used in chemical and food industry as well as for welding of ipelines, pipes and boilers.
